Every other Saturday at 4pm, we teach a Coptic iconography class for middle school and older. Come and join us!

Lesson 1

What are Coptic Icons?

What are icons? What makes Coptic icons different? Most importantly, WHY do we create icons? Explore the answers to these questions and more in this lesson!

Lesson 2

Young Christ

Draw your first face! Straight view, young Jesus (around the age He taught in the temple). This is also the basic face we use for all icons.

Lesson 3

Saint Mina

Draw a face from 3/4 view. Same basics, different perspective!
